NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING-TEXAMERICAS CENTER-U.S. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY BROWNSFIELDS GRANT

In accordance with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) Brownfields Grant Applications community notification requirements, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that TexAmericas Center (TAC) will hold a public hearing to discuss and receive input on the USEPA Brownfields Cleanup Grant Application for the cleanup of TAC owned properties on Texas Avenue in New Boston, TX and Lamar and Franklin Streets in Hooks, Texas. A Public Hearing will be held in-person on the grant application and proposed cleanup alternatives on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 5:00 PM CST at the TexAmericas Center Headquarters located at 107 Chapel Lane, New Boston, Texas 75570. Public comments on the grant application and draft Analysis of Brownfields Cleanup Alternatives will be accepted through midnight January 23, 2026. Copies of the application are available for inspection during normal business hours at TexAmericas Center Headquarters at the above referenced address or a copy can be obtained by contacting Jeff Whitten, P.E., at jeff.whitten@texamericascenter.com.  Comments can be emailed to Jeff Whitten, P.E., at the email address listed above, and should include the name and contact information of the commentor and responses limited to 250 words.
